Wir dachten, es sei eine lustige Idee, sich bei einer Familie einzumieten, die teilweise Wurzeln in unserer Heimatstadt hat. Worauf wir nicht gefasst waren, war das herzliche Willkommen und die liebevoll hergerichtete und ausgestattete Wohnung. Es war genau die richtige Basis, die aufregende Stadt zu erkunden. Supermarkt, Wäscherei, Restaurants und U-Bah-nStation in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen, ruhige, unaufgeregte Nachbarschaft, entspannte, hilfsbereite Vermieter – exakt der Ort, den man morgens voller Unternehmungslust verlässt und zu dem man abends erschöpft zurückkehrt um auf dem Sofa vor dem Fernseher mit den Füßen auf dem Tisch ein Gute-Nacht-Bier zu trinken. Bis zu sechs Personen können in dem Appartement wohnen – für uns zwei bot es geradezu luxuriös viel Platz. Wir kommen wieder!

We thought, it would be funny to stay with a family, that has some connections with our hometown. But we didn´t expect that kind of warm and hearty welcome and the lovely equipped appartement. It was exactly the base you want to have, to explore that exciting city. Shops, Laundry, Restaurants an the subway-station in a few minutes to walk, an nice and quiet neighborhood, laidback and helpful hosts – the right place to leave in the morning, ready for adventure, and to come back to, exhausted, in the evening, to have your good-night-beer on the sofa in front of the TV with your feet on the table.

Up to six persons can stay in the appartement – for the two of us the space was almost indecent luxury. We come back!
