My family (5 people including adolescents and teenagers) spent 5 nights in September at the lovingly renovated apartment on the 2nd floor of a 100-year-old house. 2 bath rooms (dream of a family with teenagers), a fully equipped kitchen, sleeping accommodations for 6 (two Queen size and one double bed) and a large living and dining room offered opportunities to retire individually and at the same time it provided space enough to spend time together. The two bedrooms to the back of the house are very quiet at night, one would hardly assume to be in New York City. We also very much appreciated the phone that allowed us to call around half the world at no cost to us. Manhattan can quickly be reached by subway; however, Brooklyn itself is worthwhile to be explored as well. The fantastic Botanical Garden, the Park Slope neighborhood, the Brooklyn Library, playgrounds on almost every corner and much more offer absolute high lights for families with children, teenagers and adults of any age level. The owners Stefan and Wagaye live on the first floor in the same house, and they are refreshingly straightforward and helpful. We very much recommend this place to culturally interested people, families with children or adolescents, couples without children, groups of women, and we want to once again cordially thank Stefan and Wagaye.
